§ 496-3. Drainage from house fixtures restricted.

  • No drainage from any closets, bathtubs, laundry tubs, kitchen sinks or similar fixtures shall be permitted to flow upon the ground, nor shall it be diverted into any surface or subsurface drain intended to carry off the natural flow of surface or rain water or upon any public or private highway. Such drainage must be conducted through vitrified brick, concrete or iron pipe, not less than four inches in diameter, to a properly constructed cesspool or sewer.
